Mahadasha

महादशा

The major planetary period in the Vimshottari dasha system. Each of the nine planets rules a mahadasha of specific duration (from 6 to 20 years). The sequence is fixed: Ketu, Venus, Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury.
