This page sets the terms on which Antara is offered to you. By signing in or making a payment, you agree to them. We have tried to write them in plain language, but they are the legal agreement between us — please read.
I · Who can use Antara
You must be at least eighteen years old to use Antara. The product is intended for adults capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law. If you are below eighteen, please do not sign in; if you have already signed in, write to support@antara.digital and we will close the account.
II · What Antara is
Antara is a Vedic-astrology reading service. From your birth details we compute your natal chart in the sidereal frame (using the Lahiri ayanamsa) and the planetary periods described by the Vimśottarī Mahādasha system, and we produce a written reading drawn from those computations.
The reading is an interpretation in the tradition of classical Indian astrology. It is a literary and reflective artefact. It is not, and is not intended to be, medical advice, mental-health advice, legal advice, financial advice, or investment guidance. See section VII below.
III · Your account
You sign in using Google or a one-time email link sent to your inbox. You are responsible for keeping that underlying account or email address secure. Antara does not store a separate password for you.
You agree that the birth details you supply are accurate to your knowledge. We cannot produce a useful reading from incorrect details, and we will not be responsible for an unhelpful reading drawn from details you supplied incorrectly.
You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. Closure deletes every record we hold against you, as described in our Privacy policy.
IV · The free portion, and the unlock
The reading for your current planetary period is free for as long as you keep your account open. So is the daily page — a short note for the day you're in. There is no time limit on these.
The fuller map — every Mahādasha you will live, the Antardashas within them, transits read against your natal Moon, and the auspicious-timing lookup — opens through one of two paid tiers, each charged in Indian rupees through Razorpay. The morning email and the daily push are free for every signed-in user; you can toggle either off from your settings:
- Monthly — ₹99 per month, billed automatically every month until cancelled.
- Yearly — ₹999 per year (saving ~16% compared to monthly), billed automatically every year until cancelled.
Every user begins on the free Basic tier — your current planetary-period reading and the daily page, free of charge. The published price at the moment you complete payment is the price you pay. We may change prices for new buyers in the future; we will give at least one cycle's notice by email before changing the renewal price on a recurring subscription.
V · Auto-renewal, cancellation, refunds
The monthly and annual tiers are recurring subscriptions. By starting a subscription you authorise Razorpay (acting as our payment processor and your bank's e-mandate agent) to charge your selected payment method at the start of each cycle until you cancel. Razorpay also sends a pre-debit notification each cycle as required by RBI rules.
You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time from the Settings page or by writing to support@antara.digital. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you keep access until that date and no further charges occur.
Refunds. For monthly and yearly subscriptions, partial-period refunds are not offered; cancellation simply stops future charges. The one exception is a billing error — a payment captured by Razorpay that failed to activate access on our side. Write to support@antara.digital with the payment ID and we will either activate the unlock or refund the charge, whichever you prefer.
Statutory consumer-protection rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the DPDP Act, 2023, are not affected by this policy.
VI · How you may use Antara
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service beyond the regular browser interface.
- Attempt to interfere with the service, abuse rate limits, or probe for vulnerabilities outside a responsible disclosure context.
- Use the service to create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.
- Reproduce the reading text or other generated material in commercial products without written permission. The reading is for your personal reflection; sharing it privately is welcome.
If you find a security issue, we would be grateful to hear about it at support@antara.digital.
VII · Disclaimers
Antara's readings are an interpretive practice with roots in classical Indian astrology. We offer them with care and seriousness, but they are not:
- medical, psychiatric, or mental-health advice;
- legal advice, or any kind of representation in a legal matter;
- financial advice, investment recommendation, or guidance for matters before regulators such as SEBI or the RBI;
- a prediction of any specific future event in the scientific or actuarial sense.
For any of the above, please consult a qualified professional. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties — express or implied — about its fitness for any particular purpose.
VIII · Limits on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you, taken across all claims, will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one thousand Indian rupees, whichever is greater. Neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded by Indian law.
IX · Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we have reason to believe these terms are being broken in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure. Where the breach is minor we will warn first; for severe abuse we may suspend immediately. Termination by us does not refund unused subscription time except where the termination itself was unjustified.
You may terminate at any time by closing your account from Settings.
X · Changes to the terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes that affect what you have already paid for will be notified to you by email. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
XI · Governing law, and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Before any litigation, please write to us at support@antara.digital — most concerns can be resolved by a conversation.
